Kini is located on the Western side of Syros. Is a picturesque fishing village with an amazing beach and crystal clear waters. Kini is considered one of the most touristic settlements of Syros and is only 9km distance from the center of Ermoupolis. There is a regular public bus service as well as a 24-hour taxi service for any part of the island.

At Kini you can find taverns, cafes, mini market, souvenir shop and car and motorbike rental office. Kini is famous for its amazing sunset. The trademark of the village is the mermaid that adorns the beach of Kini. There is also a small aquarium where representative species of fish and marine organisms found at the bottom of Syros are presented.
